Sorry I haven't done one of these posts in a while but here we go. 

Here's what I have been getting up to recently via Instagram.

Mum and I went for a Spa Weekend at Brandshatch Hotel last weekend.

My Week on Instagram

Well August has been a very busy month and even though this isn't quite 'a week' on Instagram, I thought I would share with you a few random pictures of what I've been up to recently.
I'll do another 'My Week on Instagram' post next week with the rest of the pictures.

I hope you enjoy seeing what I've been up to recently anyway.

You've probably seen my blog post on this 'A Hen Do To Remember' but this is a little shot from my day of Clay Pigeon Shooting. It was such a good experience and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Cocktails at Steam and Rye

Not sure I have ever tried a cocktail with a fab ice lolly in it but it was amazing. A bit sickly towards the end but their choice of cocktails will keep you busy for many an hour. 

 Can you tell I like Cocktails? This was in Olu Deniz in Turkey at the end of July. 

Another picture from Turkey. I know this has been instagramed but the water was the clearest I think I have ever seen. Taken just by the island of St Nicholas on our boat trip. 

Turkey: The most amazing Caprese Salad.

After a morning of quad biking we stopped at this little traditional place for a quick drink. I just loved the little seating area. 

Getting ready for our last night in Turkey. Dress is from TFNC at Topshop. 

First day back from my holiday and yet more alcohol seems to have been consumed. Well, it is summer after all. 

Lights out. Lighting a candle in memory of all those who fought and lost their lives for us in World War One . May they never be forgotten. 

 Free ice cream did I hear you say? Yes, Ben and Jerry's ice cream vans have been popping up over London the last couple of weeks, giving away free Frozen Yoghurt flavored ice cream.

We ran like children through Soho Square to enjoy one of these.

The best bit......? The spoon changes colour when it's cold.

Pop Up Lunch

There is nothing better than a ‘working lunch’ where the working part is the last thing on everyone's mind. 

So with that in mind, we headed down to Jamie’s Oliver Pop up Diner on Shaftesbury Avenue.
I've never been to any kind of ‘Pop Up’ Restaurant so I was intrigued to see what it was all about.

There is an emphasis on British produce and Jamie has tried to include a few healthy dishes too. But don't worry there are also some rather naughty ones too…..Don’t even get me started on the Piccadilly Mud Pie.

But before I talk to you about the food, let me show you round.

You couldn't have picked a better spot for people watching than over looking Shaftesbury Avenue on a busy Friday lunchtime.

And now back to the food.
There were a lot of cocktails to choose from but as this was a 'working lunch' we decided we should stick to the soft drinks.
I must be the only person who has never had a cream soda so naturally that's what I chose.

It is the sweetest drink I have ever tried. I liked it but I don't think I'll be having it again in a hurry.
Did you ever had coke or vanilla floats at school? It kind of tasted a bit like that but with sugary syrup instead of the ice cream.

Quite a few things caught my eye on the menu but I decided to go for, Barbecue Pork Rib Fingers, which were delicious. And of course I ordered some chips too.

I can highly recommend this restaurant, although you better hurry as I'm not sure how long it will be here for.

A lot has been going on recently. I have moved into my new flat and so have spent quite a lot of time decorating, painting, putting together new furniture and  experimenting with food. This is my little post on life lately through my Instagram page.

At my Cousins Wedding with Megan and Jack. It was the most gorgeous day and we got to run round the grounds during the Champagne reception and enjoy the glorious sunshine.

Cookie Monster cookies. I didn't have one but the children at the Wedding did.

Look what we found....yes found!! I love Vintage things. You would not believe how intricate the detail is on this, it is beautiful.
